Gulf County is a place where both businesses and families thrive. The quality of life that lives in this community is sought out by tourists, professionals and families. Since the BP Oil Spill our economy has been mainly driven by the tourism industry. Our sugar-sandy beaches, salt and fresh water fishing opportunities, and unique destination experiences within Gulf County are the main attractions for tourist. Thriving agriculture, livestock, commercial honey and seafood industry continues to grow and strengthen our economy. The Port of Port St. Joe also brings endless economic opportunity to this area.
