Northwest Florida – A group of Northwest Florida economic developers will join a multitude of partners in Paris next week to embark upon the 54th annual international airshow. The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget brings together all the players in the global aerospace industry and focuses on the latest technological innovations. The first four days of the show are reserved for trade visitors, followed by three days open to the general public.
Florida’s Great Northwest has set 17 appointments with aerospace companies who are interested in learning more about Northwest Florida’s aerospace climate and opportunities for business growth and success. As a corporate partner with the four-state Aerospace Alliance, FGNW will also be prominently featured during the annual Aerospace Alliance Reception, a boat cruise on the River Seine, with 450 people registered to attend.
Economic developers have a long history of participating in international air shows because of the countless prime opportunities to meet with high-level aerospace executives all in one location. Nearly every major aerospace company, including board chairs and CEOs, attends the event. Because of the prominence of the show and Northwest Florida’s desire to grow its aerospace cluster, FGNW has a laser-focused strategy around these events.
"We are committed to making a strong impression for Northwest Florida at the Paris Air Show," said Jennifer Conoley, President & CEO of Florida's Great Northwest. "Our region's success and growth depend on this opportunity to engage with aerospace company executives and showcase our story. We are proud to collaborate with local and state partners to ensure that our presence at the show is impactful and beneficial for our region."
