Northwest Florida - In recent months, Florida was ranked #2 in a survey by Chief Executive to discover what states are the best for doing business. In this survey, Chief Executive polled more than 600 American CEOs from every state to understand and gain perspective on the business climates in each state. In this survey, the CEOs also provided how each state’s business climate has changed and why this affects their rankings.
For every state, this ranking provides insights to global CEOs, when trying to understand where they should take their business. In the Chief Executive Survey, 49% of the CEOs interviewed said they were “more open to examining new location for your business”, 44% said they were “considering opening or expanding new operations or facilities in a new state,” while 35% were considering shifting operations to a new state.
In Florida, this ranking is very beneficial for investors and CEOs to see what all Florida has to offer when starting a business or relocating a business. For example, Florida is ranked as having the 4th best tax climate in the country. This ranking reflects the 5.5% corporate tax rate, no personal income tax, and no payroll tax in the state’s climate.
